Ujin Jargalanread bio
Ujin from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia is a graduate of the National University of Mongolia, where she majored in International Relations. As an undergraduate student, she volunteered, worked for and lead international meetings as secretariat staff for NGOs, cooperation mechanisms and government departments such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Civil Service of Council of Mongolia and GIZ. She also worked as a Social and Economics Policy officer at the MPP caucus in the Parliament of Mongolia. At present, Ujin is a member of the working group on the 2018 draft law amendments to the Constitution of Mongolia. Prior to this, she represented and led her country as team leader on the 2017 "Belt and Road" International Cooperation seminar in China. As a Yenching Scholar, Ujin hopes to recognise the involvement of Mongolia in the “Belt and Road” initiative under the Politics and International Relations research area.
