She served as a Student Government senator, the International Students’ organisation President, the Caribbean Students’ organisation President, and Wellesley Rugby captain. At the Yenching Academy, she plans to concentrate in Politics and International Relations. She has a particular interest in developing island nations, having spent parts of her life in different islands including Barbados, Hong Kong, Cape Verde, and New Zealand. She hopes to delve into renewable energy development, particularly how they are harnessed in developing countries. With China as one of the world's growing assertive influencers in renewable energy, she is keen to learn how China's green transition can help other developing nations, such as her own, transition more sustainably. After her time in China, she looks forward to returning to her home country, and working on issues related to energy and social development.
